Rajesh Khanna, known as Hindi cinema’s first superstar, left a lasting impact with movies like ‘Aradhana’, ‘Anand’, ‘Kati Patang’, and ‘Amar Prem’.
The tribute message read, “Remembering Rajesh Khanna Ji on his death anniversary,” with Jackie expressing, “Always in our hearts,” along with a red heart emoticon. Rajesh Khanna, born as Jatin Khanna in 1942, was raised in Mumbai by his relatives Chunnilal Khanna and Leelawati Khanna. His filmography boasts timeless classics such as ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, ‘Bawarchi’, ‘Namak Haraam’, and ‘Aap Ki Kasam’.
Rajesh Khanna, who passed away in 2012 at the age of 69 after battling illness, also gave us unforgettable songs like ‘Mere Sapno Ki Rani’, ‘Roop Tera Mastana’, and ‘Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai’. He married actress Dimple Kapadia in 1973 and had two daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna. Before his marriage, he was in a well-known relationship with actress Anju Mahendru.
