Jaipur Discom, committed to Rajasthan’s energy self-reliance, reached a historic milestone by collecting Rs 29,462 crore in revenue during FY 2025–26, surpassing the billed amount by Rs 599 crore. This achievement signifies 100% recovery of current dues and substantial arrears from past defaulters. The discom’s revenue collection efficiency peaked at 102%, the highest in its 26-year history.

Among the zones, Bharatpur Zone excelled with a 104.63% collection efficiency, followed by Kota Zone at 103.64% and Jaipur Zone at 101.32%. Noteworthy is Bharatpur Zone’s performance, encompassing challenging districts like Bharatpur, Deeg, Dholpur, and Karauli. Efforts against power theft, recovery from defaulters, and resolution of pending cases contributed to this success.

Strict measures, including actions against power theft and recovery from defaulters, led to a four percent revenue increase in districts. All 18 circles of Jaipur Discom achieved 100% or higher revenue collection, with top performers like Karauli at 108.80%, Bundi at 105.66%, and Kota at 104.08%.

Nodal officers at the circle level monitored sub-divisions with high losses, while special drives targeted dues from government departments. ‘Zero Defective Meter’ status was achieved across all circles, ensuring accurate billing based on actual consumption. Jaipur Discom also improved its power infrastructure through various schemes, reducing distribution losses to 11.02% and Aggregate Technical and Commercial losses to 9.24%.
