Jamia Millia Islamia’s Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management has secured the top spot nationally in the Best Value-for-Money Hotel Management Colleges category for 2026, as per the university rankings. The university also clinched the 3rd position nationally among the Best Emerging Hotel Management Colleges. Additionally, JMI’s Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics maintained its 5th rank in India’s top architecture institutions.
Vice Chancellor Mazhar Asif and Registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi commended the faculty, students, and staff for these accomplishments. They highlighted that these rankings underscore JMI’s dedication to academic excellence, industry engagement, and holistic student development in various professional fields. Asif emphasized the university’s ongoing pursuit of excellence in specialized areas of higher education, expressing confidence in the continued success of the recognized departments.
The university officials praised the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics for their consistent performance and commitment to quality education and industry-aligned learning. Similarly, Dean Qamar Irshad and Head Taiyaba Munawer from the Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics were recognized for the faculty’s remarkable performance in the Best Colleges Ranking 2026.
