Jamia Millia Islamia paid tribute to the late Zakir Husain, former President of India, on his 57th death anniversary. The Vice Chancellor, Mazhar Asif, led university officials, students, and family members in laying floral wreaths at his mausoleum on the campus. A special prayer meeting was also conducted in his memory at the same location.
The university recently welcomed a delegation from Purbanchal University in Nepal for a program on Quality Assurance and Accreditation. This initiative, aligned with the University Grants Commission’s framework in Nepal, aimed to support academic and administrative reforms at Purbanchal University. The visiting delegation included senior academic leaders and administrators from Nepal.
During the visit, Jamia’s officials showcased the institution’s academic excellence and commitment to collaboration. They discussed the university’s academic structure, achievements, and technology-driven admission and examination systems. The delegation from Purbanchal University praised Jamia for its quality assurance practices and expressed interest in AI-enabled academic methods.
