The Centre for Distance and Online Education at Jamia Millia Islamia has announced that admissions for various distance and online courses are now open until August 10. Online application forms can be accessed on the university website, with the deadline for submission set as August 10. Professor Aslam Khan, the Director of CDOE, emphasized the institution’s commitment to providing academic programs that align with the evolving demands of higher education and the job market.
Admissions are available for a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programs, with selection criteria based on merit in the qualifying examination. The offered programs include M.A. in various subjects such as Education, English, Geography, History, and more, along with B.A. (General), B.Com., and BBA. MBA (ODL) and B.Ed. programs require merit in the entrance test, scheduled for August 22, 2026, within the Jamia Millia Islamia Campus.
The CDOE, JMI, has introduced two new programs, Bachelor of Science (Biosciences) and MBA (Online Mode), with selection based on previous exam scores and an interview. Additionally, admissions are open for various Postgraduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate programs, including those in Guidance and Counselling, Early Childhood Care and Education, Educational Media Production, Mass Media, and Information Technology, among others.
Shortlisted candidates will receive notifications via email for physical document verification scheduling. Document verification and fee submission will take place from August 31 to September 10. Prospective applicants are advised to review the admission guidelines and ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before submitting their online applications, as no applications will be accepted after the submission deadline.
