Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Unveils Drug Abuse Awareness Film Poster

Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha revealed the poster of an awareness film called ‘The Last Dose’ on drug abuse at Lok Bhawan. The film is produced by Khwaish Gupta Productions. The Lt Governor praised the team and extended his best wishes to them.

Khwaish Gupta, the Founder of Khwaish Gupta Productions, along with Shivdeep Gupta and Priya Gupta, who are the film’s Producers, were present at the unveiling event. Earlier that day, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir emphasized the significant challenge of drug abuse in Jammu and Kashmir. He labeled drug addiction as a serious social problem in the region.

The Divisional Commissioner highlighted the rapid escalation of the drug issue, which has tripled in the past three and a half years, raising concerns. He mentioned that the government is ramping up its anti-drug awareness efforts by engaging various stakeholders, including religious leaders. The Divisional Commissioner also stated that a comprehensive awareness campaign is ongoing in Jammu and Kashmir, with the Chief Secretary overseeing it personally.
