Jamshedpur FC, currently placed second in the Indian Super League 2025-26 standings, eyes a temporary move to the top as they take on SC Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The Men of Steel hold 12 points from five matches and seek a win to lead the table, while SC Delhi, with just one point from four games, aims to improve their position.

In their recent outings, SC Delhi managed a 2-2 draw against Mumbai City FC after a spirited comeback, while Jamshedpur FC faced their first defeat of the season, losing 1-2 to NorthEast United FC. Sporting Club Delhi’s head coach, Tomasz Tchórz, emphasized the importance of building a strong foundation through hard work and consistent performances for the team’s long-term vision.

Owen Coyle, the head coach of Jamshedpur FC, urged his team to bounce back quickly from their recent loss and regain their winning form. Coyle emphasized the team’s capability to win any game in the league when performing at their best, highlighting the importance of a positive mentality going into the upcoming match.

SC Delhi, in their debut season under a new identity after relocating from Hyderabad, share a competitive history with Jamshedpur FC, with both teams having a balanced record in their previous encounters. The upcoming match holds significance for both sides, with Jamshedpur FC aiming for the top spot and SC Delhi looking to secure crucial points to improve their standing in the league.
