Actress Jane Seymour, known for her role as Bond girl Solitaire in 1973’s Live and Let Die alongside Roger Moore, shared her challenges in breaking away from the Bond girl image. Despite struggles in England due to typecasting, Seymour found more opportunities in the US where her diverse talents were recognized. Moving to America, she initially portrayed American characters, leading to a shift in her career trajectory.

In a recent interview, Seymour expressed her openness to playing the role of Bond herself, acknowledging the slim chances of being offered the iconic part. She also expressed interest in returning to the Bond franchise under Amazon’s new ownership. Pleased with Amazon’s takeover, Seymour praised the company’s potential to invest in and evolve the Bond series.

Seymour has previously expressed her willingness to make a cameo in future James Bond films, showing her enduring fondness for the franchise and her iconic character, Solitaire.
