The Janata Dal (Secular) (JD-S) cautioned the Congress about its alleged poster campaign targeting Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s family. The JD(S) warned of potential protests at Rahul Gandhi’s residence and the Congress headquarters if the attacks persist. The party accused the Congress of using posters to distract from the Bidadi Township project protests.

Greater Bengaluru JD(S) President H.M. Ramesh Gowda criticized the Congress for tarnishing Kumaraswamy’s image through posters. He condemned the “poster culture” and threatened to respond in kind if the attacks continued. Ramesh Gowda highlighted the Congress’s alleged moral decline and political tactics.

Ramesh Gowda revealed that JD(S) workers were incensed by the poster campaign against Kumaraswamy. He mentioned plans for a counter-campaign in Delhi but stated that Kumaraswamy intervened to prevent such actions. The JD(S) leader emphasized the importance of maintaining a dignified approach despite provocation.

The JD(S) leader accused the Congress of attempting to undermine the farmers’ protest against the Bidadi Township project. Ramesh Gowda urged the Karnataka government to reconsider the project, warning of potential backlash from affected farmers. He criticized the Congress for its insensitivity towards the farmers’ movement and cautioned against underestimating public discontent.
