Senior political leaders in Bihar are expressing strong support for JD(U) leader Nishant Kumar’s upcoming statewide outreach program. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has endorsed the initiative, stating that Nishant Kumar has the full backing of the party and its members. The move is seen as a significant step in energizing grassroots workers and consolidating the JD(U)’s organizational strength.
Leaders from the BJP have also welcomed Nishant Kumar’s initiative, with BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi praising his youth and talent. Nishant Kumar, son of former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is gearing up to kick off a ‘Sadbhav Yatra’ from Champaran, following in his father’s footsteps. The tour aims to convey messages of development, good governance, and social harmony achieved under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
Nishant Kumar’s active involvement, despite not holding any formal position, has injected renewed energy into the JD(U) organization, according to JD(U) Bihar State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha. The tour, which will include interactions with party workers at various levels, is expected to strengthen organizational ties. The first phase of the yatra is scheduled to cover Bagaha and Bettiah on May 3-4.
