India’s Jemimah Rodrigues achieved the milestone of 2500 runs in T20 Internationals during the final match against Australia in Adelaide. Rodrigues, batting at No. 3, surpassed the mark with a boundary off Kim Garth in her 118th T20I innings. She joins the ranks of skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Shafali Verma as the fourth Indian woman to achieve this feat.

In the same game, Harmanpreet Kaur made history by becoming the most-capped international player in women’s cricket, surpassing New Zealand’s Suzie Bates in her 356th international appearance. Ellyse Perry of Australia also marked a milestone, playing her 350th international game and becoming the first Australian woman to achieve this feat.

The ongoing T20I series between India and Australia saw an intense battle, with India taking a 1-0 lead after the first match at the SCG. Australia fought back in the second match at Manuka Oval, leveling the series with a strong performance. The final game of the series witnessed India’s dominance, with a solid batting display from Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues leading the charge.
