Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence shared her preference for filming intimate scenes with strangers rather than friends or long-time colleagues. She mentioned that working with Robert Pattinson in “Die My Love” was easier as they did not know each other, making it more comfortable. Despite her success, Lawrence finds acting to be “very embarrassing” and even took interpretive dance lessons before shooting a scene with Pattinson. She revealed that both she and Pattinson get embarrassed easily, but the dance lessons helped them overcome their nerves.
Lawrence also mentioned that she does not watch her own movies, except for one time when she watched “American Hustle” while drunk. She expressed that she learned a lot about acting from working with director David O. Russell, known for films like “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Joy.” Russell’s direct and straightforward coaching style resonated with Lawrence, who appreciated his approach to guiding her performances.
