Jharkhand Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, representing the Congress in the state government, has returned his entire official security cover due to a disagreement with the police department. This decision came after he was denied an additional vehicle for his security personnel, leading to his return of all 16 security personnel and three government vehicles provided for their use.

Kishore’s dissatisfaction with the security arrangements was evident as he attended public events in Ranchi without any security escort following the return of his security detail. He had previously requested an additional vehicle for the movement of his security personnel, citing overcrowded conditions in the existing vehicles that made the security setup impractical and ineffective.

Despite Kishore’s request, no decision was made, and instead, the police headquarters asked for the withdrawal of one of the vehicles already allocated for his security. Feeling embarrassed by the situation, the Minister announced his decision to return the entire security cover, emphasizing the need for practical and effective security arrangements.

The Finance Minister’s move is viewed as a strong expression of discontent with the police headquarters, highlighting the importance of efficient security measures. However, there has been no official response from either the state government or the police headquarters regarding this matter.
