Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel recently shared a moment of realization about the age gap between him and his wife, Audra Mari. Duhamel, 53, mentioned that the age gap struck him when he compared his wife, 32, to his younger sister, Kassidy, who is almost the same age as Audra. The actor discussed this on ‘The HoneyDew With Ryan Sickler’ podcast, recalling a photo of his sister that highlighted the age difference.
Duhamel, who married Mari in 2022 after four years of dating, revealed that his wife and sister were born just months apart. Reflecting on a photo from his past, where he held his newborn sister at 21, Duhamel humorously noted the similarity in age between his wife and sister. The actor admitted that seeing this photo made him realize he might be “too old” for his wife, acknowledging the significant age gap between them.
In another podcast appearance on The Skinny Confidential, Duhamel shared his initial reservations about dating Mari due to her perceived youth. However, he was impressed by her personality during a barbecue at his house, where her interactions with children left a positive impression on him. Duhamel described Mari as “wholesome” and someone who reminded him of the feeling of being at home, ultimately leading to a change of heart about their relationship.
