The judicial commission in Bihar’s Bhojpur district has initiated an inquiry into the alleged police encounter of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari. During the visit to Bilauti village, the deceased young man’s mother, Asha Devi, objected to the presence of Special Task Force (STF) personnel with the enquiry team.
Asha Devi expressed concerns that STF members, whom she accused of involvement in her son’s killing, were present during the inquiry. She demanded severe punishment for those responsible for her son’s death and called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter.
The family reiterated their plea for an impartial CBI investigation, emphasizing the need for justice and accountability in the case. The commission, led by retired Justice Vinod Kumar Sinha, met with the deceased youth’s family members to gather information and examine the circumstances of the incident.
