India also claimed three silver medals in the competition. Minakshi, competing in the 51kg category, settled for silver after losing to China’s Wu Yu in the final. Prachi, in the 57kg category, earned a silver medal after being defeated by Uzbekistan’s Nigina Uktamova in the title bout.
In the men’s division, Deepak secured a silver medal in the 70kg category following a loss to Kazakhstan’s Ablaikhan Zhussupov in the final. India’s overall medal tally stood at six, including one gold, three silver, and two bronze medals.
