K. Kavitha has officially introduced her new political party, Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS), after leaving Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) six months ago due to her suspension. The launch took place at a public gathering in Medchal Malkajgiri district. TRS was the original name of BRS before it was changed in 2022.
Kavitha’s decision to use the acronym TRS coincides with discussions within BRS about reverting to the original name. She expressed dissatisfaction with her father, K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), stating that he no longer supports the people, particularly farmers and the underprivileged, and criticized his leadership.
Addressing her supporters, Kavitha emphasized her commitment to rebuilding Telangana with a focus on social justice and dignity. She announced that TRS would challenge Congress, BRS, and BJP, positioning itself as a credible alternative advocating for social justice in the region.
