Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of betraying Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan. Rao claimed that Reddy fabricated a false case against Natarajan in Hyderabad after she reported Reddy’s alleged corruption to the Congress leadership. He also alleged that Reddy shared this false case with the BJP to prevent Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking to party workers in Khairatabad constituency, Rao criticized Reddy for betraying his own party members. He emphasized that Natarajan, a trusted aide of Rahul Gandhi, was unfairly targeted by Reddy. Rao also condemned Reddy for admiring Hitler, calling it inappropriate for a democratic nation.
Rao described the Congress government as a failed venture, likening it to a flop movie. He criticized the government for not fulfilling its promises halfway through its term. Rao highlighted the government’s failure to deliver on job creation and unemployment benefits, questioning its commitment to women’s welfare.
Addressing the issue of by-elections in Khairatabad due to a defection, Rao urged party workers to prevent voter list manipulation by the Congress. He instructed booth-level agents to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision and conduct large-scale digital party membership drives.
