Yash will portray Ravana in the movie, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and DNEG. ‘Ramayana’ features stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey. The film faced criticism on social media for its VFX in the first look, handled by the Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ boasts music by A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, showcasing a unique cross-industry collaboration. The two-part epic is scheduled for an IMAX release globally, with Part 1 premiering in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
