Kanpur Warriors made a remarkable comeback in the second half to secure a 35–30 victory over Aligarh Tigers in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL). Despite Aligarh Tigers’ early lead, Kanpur Warriors, led by Sushant Chaudhary’s 17 raid points, turned the game around with a strong defensive display.
Lucknow Lions continued their unbeaten streak with a dominant 42–21 win against JD Noida Ninjas. Lucknow’s solid defense, led by Nishant Raghuvanshi and Mohd Amaan, along with effective raids from Akash Nain, secured their victory and maintained their perfect record in the league.
The UPKL action also featured other matches, including Ganga Kings of Mirzapur’s hard-fought win over JD Noida Ninjas and Lucknow Lions’ convincing 38–27 victory against Kanpur Warriors. Additionally, Yamuna Yoddhas triumphed over Purvanchal Panthers, while Brij Stars staged a comeback to defeat Sangam Challengers.
