Filmmaker Karan Johar shared a humorous memory from the filming of his debut movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ on an episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ featuring the film’s leading ladies, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. During the shoot of the song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol acknowledged Rani as their dance mentor after a comment by Farah Khan.
Karan Johar reminisced about a comical moment during the filming, where Farah Khan was directing a dance sequence, and an interruption led to Shah Rukh and Kajol playfully teasing Rani. Following Farah’s praise for Rani’s performance, Shah Rukh and Kajol sought dance guidance from Rani, who then assisted them with the steps.
The incident boosted Rani’s confidence, as noted by Karan Johar, making the filming process smoother for her. The film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, produced by Karan Johar’s father Yash Johar, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles, with Salman Khan and Sana Saeed in supporting characters. The storyline revolves around a love triangle among college friends, later involving Rahul’s daughter in reuniting past relationships.
