Actress Kareena Kapoor recently posted a cryptic message on social media, emphasizing her belief in goodness. Without explicit details, it appears she is expressing confidence in the judicial system following recent developments involving her former brother-in-law’s property. The Delhi High Court has granted interim relief to her sister Karisma Kapoor’s children in a dispute with Priya Kapur over their late father’s will.
Kareena’s niece and nephew, Samaira and Kiaan, have been granted an interim injunction by the Delhi High Court to prevent Priya from accessing or managing Sunjay Kapur’s assets. Justice Jyoti Singh, on a single-judge Bench, emphasized the need to preserve Sunjay’s estate due to suspicions raised about the authenticity of the will. The court has placed the responsibility on Priya to address these suspicions during the trial process.
Challenging a will dated March 21, 2025, Karisma’s children allege that the document, leaving Sunjay’s estate to Priya, is fraudulent and part of a scheme to exclude them and their grandmother. They claim the will was manipulated while Sunjay was on vacation with his son. Sunjay, Karisma’s ex-husband, passed away in June 2025 at the age of 53, reportedly due to a heart attack while playing polo in the UK.
