Bollywood stars Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar delighted fans with a nostalgic reunion on the Wheel of Fortune show. They recreated the magic of their iconic song ‘Deedar Ho Gaya Mujhko Pyaar Ho Gaya’, celebrating 34 years of the film Deedar, much to the excitement of their fans.
During the show, Karisma, along with Anu Malik and Mouni Roy, joined in the fun-filled episode. Akshay Kumar shared a heartfelt moment, expressing his admiration for Karisma as his first heroine, reminiscing about their first film and song together.
In a light-hearted banter, Akshay humorously mentioned, “Bandra main har building ke andar inke ek-ek flat hain,” to which Anu Malik playfully supported, and Karisma teased back about Akshay owning properties in Juhu, Santacruz, and Khar.
The movie ‘Deedar’, released in 1992, was directed and produced by Pramod Chakravorty, featuring Akshay Kumar as Anand K. Malhotra and Karisma Kapoor as Sapna Saxena, in one of their early on-screen pairings. The film also starred Anupam Kher, Laxmikant Berde, Tanuja, Dan Dhanoa, Rajeev Verma, and Viju Khote in supporting roles.
