Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor delighted fans by recreating her famous dance from the 90s hit song “Mirchi Lagi Toh” on the TV show MasterChef India alongside Chef Kunal Kapur. The show’s promo showcased a nostalgic moment as Karisma Kapoor, an iconic figure from the silver screen, brought back memories and excitement to the kitchen. Encouraged by the contestants and judges, Karisma Kapoor danced energetically to her classic song “Tujhko Mirchi Lagi,” originally featuring her and Bollywood star Govinda in the movie Coolie No.1.
In a light-hearted moment on the show, Chef Kunal playfully joined Karisma in the dance, expressing his desire to dance with her despite claiming he didn’t know how to dance. This interaction added to the fun as Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Ranveer Brar also joined in, turning the kitchen into a lively celebration. The promo also hinted at a sweet gesture from a contestant named Venu, who serenaded Karisma Kapoor with a red rose and danced to her popular song “Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi Mein” from the blockbuster movie Raja Hindustani.
Karisma Kapoor later shared her family’s passion for food, mentioning that while acting remains their first love, food comes a close second.
