Karnataka BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra claimed that during the NEET protests, anti-social elements exploited the situation to create chaos in the national capital. He alleged a conspiracy to incite violence similar to incidents in Sri Lanka and Nepal. Vijayendra stated that police and media personnel were attacked during the unrest, attributing the violence to what he called “Tukde-Tukde gangs.”

Vijayendra criticized the Congress for politicizing the NEET issue despite prompt action by the central government following the alleged question paper leak. He commended the Narendra Modi-led government for swiftly addressing the matter without suppressing information. The BJP leader highlighted the government’s quick response, including arrests made in connection with the case overnight.

Accusing the Congress and the “Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)” of staging protests for political gain, Vijayendra emphasized PM Modi’s commitment to education and youth welfare. He mentioned the establishment of fast-track courts to expedite the NEET case investigation and ensure justice for those involved. Vijayendra also pointed out the government’s efforts to introduce measures like computer-based exams and advanced monitoring systems to prevent future incidents.

Questioning the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar, Vijayendra criticized LoP Rahul Gandhi for allegedly neglecting student concerns during his foreign trip. He stated that the Centre was open to discussing the NEET issue in Parliament for as long as necessary. Vijayendra accused the Congress of jeopardizing youth prospects and creating unrest despite the NDA government’s initiatives to expand opportunities in higher education.
