Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah recently took part in a protest organized by the Karnataka Youth Congress at Freedom Park. The demonstration aimed to address the alleged irregularities in the NEET UG-2026 exam and criticize the Central government. At the event, Siddaramaiah criticized the BJP-led government for incompetence and failure in handling the NEET examination issues.

The protest, held at Freedom Park, saw the presence of AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala and other party leaders. Participants wore T-shirts with the slogan “PM is Compromised” and carried posters highlighting the alleged NEET scam. Siddaramaiah demanded accountability from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, urging him to resign over the matter and provide compensation to affected families.

Siddaramaiah called for the immediate scrapping of the NEET system and a return to the pre-2015 system. He emphasized the need for states to regain control over medical entrance exams and criticized the BJP governments for their alleged inability to conduct fair examinations. The Chief Minister also accused the Union government of neglecting crucial issues and mismanaging governance.
