Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed his intention to present two additional Budgets if approved by the party high command. The Chief Minister made this statement during a media interaction in Mysuru. He mentioned that the decision ultimately rests with the high command, despite the desire of people for more Budgets.
Siddaramaiah, who received a guard of honour from the district administration, emphasized his commitment to follow the directives of the high command. He highlighted that the number of Budgets presented is not as crucial as adhering to the decisions of the party leadership.
When questioned about his confidence in the party high command, Siddaramaiah affirmed his trust in their decisions. He reiterated that his continuation in office depends on the directives of the high command. The Chief Minister emphasized that regardless of media inquiries, his stance remains consistent on following the party’s decisions.
Regarding the Budget, Siddaramaiah noted that this would mark his 17th Budget presentation, the highest in the state. He also addressed the issue of rising LPG cylinder prices, attributing the increase to the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister criticized the media for allegedly not highlighting the price surge since the BJP came to power.
In another event, Siddaramaiah participated in the consecration of the Kumbha Kalasha as part of the ‘Dandimaramma Temple Pratishtapana Mahotsava’. The ceremony was organized by the Sri Dandimaramma and Siddappaji Seva Samiti, with the presence of various prominent leaders, including members of the Legislative Council and District Congress President Vijaykumar.
