June 3 has been set as the date for the swearing-in of Karnataka Congress President D.K. Shivakumar as the state’s chief minister. The auspicious day was finalized by Vaastu expert Guruji Aaradhya, who identified Wednesday, June 3, as the suitable day for the ceremony. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 5.15 p.m. at Lok Bhavan during the auspicious Vruschika Lagna.
Aaradhya mentioned that he personally selected the auspicious time for the ceremony and clarified that June 3 was chosen after considering various factors. Initially, June 5 was under consideration, but due to the unavailability of an important attendee, the date was shifted to June 3. Meanwhile, Shivakumar sought blessings from Ajjayya Swamiji at the Nagarabhavi branch of Ajjayya Math in Bengaluru and discussed the proposed date with Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot.
In a related development, AICC General Secretaries Randeep Singh Surjewala and K.C. Venugopal arrived in Bengaluru ahead of the crucial CLP meeting. The party is expected to elect its new legislature party leader during this meeting. Caretaker Chief Minister Siddaramaiah attended the final rites of former minister Venkataramanappa, refraining from commenting on the upcoming CLP meeting or the leadership transition. Siddaramaiah expressed deep sorrow over Venkataramanappa’s passing, highlighting the late leader’s dedication to social justice and his contributions to the state.
