Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister and State Congress President, D.K. Shivakumar, announced that the state Cabinet meeting would address the issues of gas and petroleum supply disruptions. He emphasized the need for gas availability to the public and criticized MPs for not addressing the problem.

Shivakumar highlighted concerns about potential gas shortages and warned of possible increases in petrol and diesel prices. He expressed disappointment in the lack of action by the Central government during the crisis and urged MPs to prioritize resolving the issue for the welfare of the people.

In response to the LPG cylinder shortage due to international conflicts, BJP state President B.Y. Vijayendra assured that the Central government was working to maintain the supply. He criticized Congress leaders for protesting against the government instead of supporting efforts to address the disruption.
