He mentioned his upcoming visit to Ballari to assess the situation and reiterated the party’s commitment to maintaining peace. Responding to queries about alleged cash compensation to a Congress worker’s family, Shivakumar stated his intention to discuss the matter with Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan and commented on political dynamics involving Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.
In light of Sonia Gandhi’s hospitalization, Shivakumar expressed his concern and well wishes for her speedy recovery. He praised Gandhi’s leadership and resilience, hoping for her continued good health to guide the Congress party and the nation. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, amidst leadership uncertainties, acknowledged that his continuation in office hinges on the decision of the party high command.
