Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar expressed his desire for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to complete his full term in office, emphasizing that there is no confusion within the party. Speaking in Bengaluru, Shivakumar extended his best wishes to Siddaramaiah, dismissing media reports of confusion within the party. He also praised Siddaramaiah for matching the record of former CM D. Devaraj Urs and hoped for his continued success and good health.

Shivakumar, addressing the media, highlighted the need for peace in the state and criticized the BJP for engaging in disruptive activities. He mentioned his upcoming visit to Ballari to assess the situation and reiterated the party’s commitment to maintaining peace. Responding to queries about alleged cash compensation to a Congress worker’s family, Shivakumar stated his intention to discuss the matter with Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan and commented on political dynamics involving Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.

In light of Sonia Gandhi’s hospitalization, Shivakumar expressed his concern and well wishes for her speedy recovery. He praised Gandhi’s leadership and resilience, hoping for her continued good health to guide the Congress party and the nation. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, amidst leadership uncertainties, acknowledged that his continuation in office hinges on the decision of the party high command. He affirmed his confidence in completing his term but noted the final decision rests with the party leadership.
