Karnataka Minister for Tourism and Waqf, B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan, expressed doubt regarding the involvement of minor boys in a recent stone-pelting incident during an Om Shakti procession in Bengaluru. Minister Khan emphasized the need to identify those responsible for provoking the detained minors.

He highlighted that he had urged the police to investigate the matter further, stating that he had not encountered such incidents in his constituency since 2008. The Minister assured that a probe would be conducted to ascertain the instigators behind the stone-pelting incident.

Hindu organizations, activists, and local residents gathered near the JJ Nagar Police Station to demand the immediate arrest of the perpetrators. Allegations surfaced that the detained minors were unconnected to the incident, with accusations of an attempt to cover up the case. Concerns were also raised about a Minister’s alleged involvement in suppressing the issue.

The Karnataka Police detained three minors in connection with the stone-pelting incident targeting Om Shakti devotees in Bengaluru. Investigations are ongoing to determine the individuals who incited the minors to throw stones. Security measures have been heightened in the area, with the deployment of the Karnataka State Reserve Police and close monitoring by the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
