Karnataka’s Excise Minister R.B. Timmapur clarified that there was no discussion about a Congress Legislature Party meeting during the breakfast session. He also mentioned that the Congress leadership had chosen Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar as the next Chief Minister, as per Siddaramaiah’s promise to resign when requested by the party.
