Veteran playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy expressed her sorrow over the passing of Sunila, the wife of music composer Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma. Krishnamurthy shared a heartfelt throwback photo with the couple on her Instagram, recalling Sunila as a warm and affectionate person who dedicated her life to Pyarelal. Sunila, aged 78, was bid farewell by Pyarelal at her funeral in Santacruz Crematorium, where he, due to old age, performed the last rites seated on a wheelchair.
The family announced Sunila’s demise, describing her as a figure of grace, devotion, and unwavering love. They found solace in her peaceful departure, acknowledging her life’s fulfillment. Various members of the industry, including filmmaker Subhash Ghai, mourned her loss, with Ghai reminiscing about his recent visit to Pyarelal’s home where he spent time with Sunila and Pyarelal.
