Kerala BJP President, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, criticized the Congress party, stating that success within the Congress requires being a sycophant. He emphasized the contradiction between being in the Congress and maintaining self-respect. Chandrasekhar will contest from the Nemom constituency in the upcoming Kerala Assembly election on April 9.
He highlighted the importance of self-respect for Malayali politicians and expressed his views on the lack of ideology and vision within the Congress party. Chandrasekhar noted that many senior leaders are leaving the Congress due to the emphasis on sycophancy towards Rahul Gandhi.
Chandrasekhar pointed out that the Congress leadership values proximity and sycophancy towards Rahul Gandhi over other qualifications. He mentioned that individuals joining the BJP-NDA seek to protect their self-respect and work independently. The BJP leader welcomed the idea of a strong and mature contest in the upcoming elections.
He welcomed the competition from any candidate and emphasized that the elections are about ideas and development. Chandrasekhar expressed readiness to compete with any MLA based on their ideas for constituency development. The Kerala BJP President emphasized the importance of healthy competition and welcomed all candidates to contest.
