Bollywood star Kiara Advani extended birthday wishes to the director of her upcoming period gangster drama, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” on social media. She praised the filmmaker as a “genius mind constantly powered by passion and fearless vision” in an Instagram post. The makers marked the occasion by releasing a Behind The Scenes (BTS) video from the shoot, showing the director overseeing action sequences and performances on set.
Geetu Mohandas, the director, was lauded for her directorial skills and the impact she had on the film’s production. Kiara’s performance in the movie was highly praised by Geetu, who described it as transformative and a redefining moment for the actress. “Toxic” also stars ‘KGF’ actor Yash in the lead role, alongside Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
The film’s release date, originally set for June 4, has been postponed, with the new date yet to be announced. The project is a collaboration between Venkat K. Narayana, Yash, KVN Productions, and Monster Mind Creations.
