Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s 59-run knock led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to a seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL match. Varun Chakaravarthy’s three wickets helped KKR restrict SRH to 165 runs.
KKR had a slow start in the chase, with openers Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen cautiously assessing conditions. Despite a steady start, Allen’s aggressive innings of 29 off 13 balls was cut short. Rahane and Raghuvanshi then built a crucial partnership, guiding KKR to a comfortable position.
Raghuvanshi’s composed half-century off 39 balls anchored KKR towards victory. Despite losing key batsmen towards the end, Rinku Singh and Cameron Green ensured KKR’s win with 10 balls to spare. KKR’s strong bowling effort, led by Chakaravarthy, played a vital role in restricting SRH and securing the win.
