Roy’s impressive performance in IPL 2026 included crucial contributions with the ball and in the field, aiding KKR in securing their fourth consecutive win by defeating Delhi Capitals.
Speaking before their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Roy emphasized the importance of fielding, stating, “Fielding gives you confidence to perform, both in batting and bowling. If the fielding is good, you get a different kind of confidence from within while bowling. So for me, it is extremely important and really helps my performance.” Roy also discussed learning from experienced spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy, focusing on various aspects of spin bowling techniques and strategies.
