The popular series ‘Kohrra’ is set to return with its second season on Netflix starting February 11. The new season will see Barun Sobti’s character, Amarpal Garundi, reporting to a new commanding officer named Dhanwant Kaur, played by Mona Singh.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Garundi, now stationed at Dalerpura Police Station, embarks on a new journey alongside Dhanwant Kaur. Despite their differences, both characters share a deep commitment to solving cases while confronting their own pasts.

Showrunner and director Sudip Sharma expressed his excitement for the upcoming season, highlighting the exploration of interpersonal dynamics and the authentic portrayal of Punjab. The series aims to capture a universal reality through its characters and storyline.

Netflix India’s Series Head, Tanya Bami, praised ‘Kohrra’ for its unique storytelling and the depth of its characters. The new season promises a fresh narrative set in a new location, offering an engaging crime drama experience for viewers.

‘Kohrra’ Season 2, created by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma, introduces a new case and partnership against the backdrop of Punjab’s evocative landscape. The season marks a significant creative progression for the series, promising an intriguing blend of crime and drama.
