Playback singer Kumar Sanu recently reminisced about an unreleased duet from the 1991 film “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin,” highlighting the music era of the 1990s and the influential individuals involved. Sanu posted a video on Instagram featuring himself and Anuradha Paudwal, reflecting on the song’s creation process. He expressed how numerous songs from that period remained confined to studio tapes, each carrying its own significance and memories.

Sanu’s recollection of the song evoked strong emotions from the film’s recording sessions, characterized by passion, creativity, and memorable collaborations. He specifically mentioned the late music mogul Gulshan Kumar, acknowledging his pivotal role in realizing various iconic projects. Sanu paid tribute to Gulshan Kumar’s vision and profound love for music, emphasizing the lasting impact of his contributions.

Providing additional details, Sanu shared specifics about the song, including its association with the film “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin,” directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The movie featured Pooja Bhatt in her debut lead role, alongside Aamir Khan, Anupam Kher, Sameer Chitre, Tiku Talsania, and Deepak Tijori. Inspired by the 1934 Hollywood film “It Happened One Night,” the plot of “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin” was later adapted into Telugu and Tamil versions.
