Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav, accompanied by his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti, left for New Delhi for advanced medical care. Misa Bharti mentioned that Lalu Yadav’s health had improved and he would receive treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he has been under specialist care for years. His sudden health deterioration led to his admission to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna, but he was discharged after stabilization.

Lalu Yadav, who had a kidney transplant earlier, has been advised regular medical reviews. Recent examinations revealed cataracts and retinal issues, for which he underwent successful surgeries. Despite disruptions in follow-ups, doctors will now assess his health at AIIMS Delhi and continue his treatment plan. Misa Bharti also highlighted sanitation issues in Patna and criticized the state administration over security matters.

Doctors will conduct further evaluations at AIIMS Delhi to monitor his overall health and continue his long-term treatment plan. Lalu Prasad Yadav has been under continuous medical supervision since his kidney transplant and will undergo medical reviews every three months.
