A module linked to Lashkar-e-Tayiba, aiming to carry out attacks in Delhi and nearby cities, has been dismantled. The group, involving 8 individuals from Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, operated discreetly to conceal its Pakistan connection.
Investigators revealed a Jammu and Kashmir link similar to a previous Faridabad module. Shabbir Ahmed Lone from Kashmir, groomed by ISI since 2019, was dispatched to Bangladesh after his release from jail in 2019.
The module, like the Faridabad one, focused on propaganda and conducted dry runs to challenge Indian security agencies. It primarily aimed at spreading posters on the Kashmir issue across the country, especially in Delhi, West Bengal, and Kolkata.
