Late Nartey Goal Secures Stuttgart’s 3-2 Victory Over Frankfurt

Nikolas Nartey’s late goal sealed a thrilling 3-2 win for VfB Stuttgart against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart, coming off a strong win against Bayer Leverkusen, made just one change to their lineup. Eintracht, following a draw with Borussia Dortmund, made multiple changes and started aggressively.

Eintracht took the lead early with a header from Rasmus Kristensen, but Stuttgart equalized through Ermedin Demirovic. Deniz Undav then put Stuttgart ahead with a deflected shot. Despite creating chances, Stuttgart couldn’t extend their lead, and Eintracht leveled the score through Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab.

In the 87th minute, Nartey scored the winner for Stuttgart, moving them to third in the table. Eintracht coach Dino Toppmoller praised Stuttgart’s victory but expressed disappointment in their recent results. Borussia Dortmund won 3-0, Mainz beat Heidenheim 2-1, and Hamburg vs. Bayer Leverkusen was postponed due to weather.
