Lok Sabha MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, has strongly criticized the Union government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for recent events, including the Supreme Court’s halt on the University Grants Commission’s new rules and aviation accidents in Maharashtra. Yadav, speaking in Patna, praised the Supreme Court’s decision to pause the UGC’s Equity Regulations, accusing the BJP of promoting division. He emphasized the importance of equality and merit for all children, regardless of caste or community background.
Yadav also raised concerns about the recent plane crash in Maharashtra, questioning the circumstances that led to the tragic incident involving Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He called for a CBI investigation into the crash, highlighting a pattern of prominent figures being involved in such incidents. Yadav echoed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s call for inquiries into potential conspiracies behind these air crashes.
Furthermore, the Lok Sabha MP criticized the government over the NEET controversy and alleged administrative shortcomings, pointing to corruption and middlemen undermining the education system. He accused a syndicate of jeopardizing children’s futures and criticized the government for not taking action against them. When questioned about internal Congress issues and local politics, Yadav sarcastically dismissed any notion of taking responsibility for the Congress party.
