Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges are tied for the lead at 16-under par at the John Deere Classic held at TPC Deere Run. Their closest competitors, Ben Kohles, Jackson Suber, and Zac Blair, are one stroke behind at 15-under par. Ryo Hisatsune of Japan is the only non-American player in the top 10, tied for eighth place at 12-under par.
Indo-Canadian Sudarshan Yellamaraju missed the cut, while Akshay Bhatia, Sahith Theegala, and Aaron Rai did not participate in the event. Glover, who has been leading or sharing the lead since Thursday, made his first bogey of the week in the third round, finishing with a 2-under 69.
Hodges, starting the day two strokes behind Glover, shot a 4-under 67 to join him at the top of the leaderboard. Despite early bogeys, Hodges rallied with birdies on the 12th, 14th, 15th, and 17th holes to end the day as a co-leader. Preston Stout, the reigning NCAA champion, is also in contention, sitting tied for eighth place at 12-under par after a strong third round.
