Lucknow Super Giants, led by Rishabh Pant, opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 match at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Digvesh Rathi and Mayank Yadav joined the team, replacing M Siddharth and Avesh Khan. LSG, having lost their last three matches, are seeking a turnaround, while RR, after two consecutive losses, aim for a win.

Pant mentioned that the team is looking to put runs on the board with the new changes in the playing eleven. He emphasized the need for stability and expressed confidence in all players. Pant also praised Nicholas Pooran, showing support for the team’s performance and readiness for the challenges ahead.

Rajasthan Royals, captained by Riyan Parag, maintained their playing eleven unchanged. Parag, content with losing the toss, commended the team’s batting performance in the previous games. He highlighted the importance of playing good cricket throughout the match to secure a win, urging the team to maintain consistency and focus for the full duration.

The playing XIs for Lucknow Super Giants include Mitchell Marsh, Ayush Badoni, Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, and others. Rajasthan Royals feature Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Riyan Parag, and more in their lineup. Both teams have impact substitutes ready for the match, aiming to deliver a competitive performance on the field.
