A tragic incident of indiscriminate firing occurred at a luxury hotel in Rajasthan’s Churu district, resulting in the death of the hotel owner and leaving three individuals critically wounded. The shooting took place at Hotel ‘The Royal Treat’ in the Bidasar area around 12.30 a.m. as three armed individuals entered the premises and opened fire.
The deceased, identified as hotel owner Maniram Manda, was fatally shot multiple times on-site. The three injured individuals, Bhikharam Jat, Shravan Jat, and Prabhuram Prajapat, residents of Dadiba, sustained severe injuries during the attack. CCTV footage of the incident capturing the gunfire inside the hotel premises surfaced the following morning.
Following the shooting, the hotel was promptly sealed off, and a significant police presence was deployed in the area to ensure law and order. The injured victims were swiftly taken to Bagadia Hospital in Sujangarh for initial treatment, later being transferred to Jaipur for advanced medical care due to their critical conditions.
Police sources revealed that the deceased, Maniram Manda, had ties to the liquor and hotel industry. Initial investigations suggest a possible connection between the murder and an ongoing rivalry with another group involved in the liquor trade. However, authorities emphasized that the exact motive will only be confirmed after a thorough investigation.
Multiple police teams have been mobilized by SP Jai Yadav to track down and apprehend the assailants. One suspect has already been identified, with raids underway at various locations to apprehend all involved parties. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was summoned to the scene to collect vital evidence. Officials assured that the situation is currently under control, with further details expected to emerge as a formal case is registered and the investigation progresses.
