Madhur Bhandarkar, the National Award-winning filmmaker, recently visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain where he participated in the Bhasma Aarti. Expressing his deep connection with the temple, Bhandarkar mentioned that he finds immense peace and energy there.
Having been a regular visitor for over two decades, Bhandarkar expressed his satisfaction with the serene atmosphere of the temple. He shared that his prayers included blessings for everyone, including his friends, relatives, and family members.
Bhandarkar also commended the development in Ujjain, particularly praising Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for the remarkable progress in infrastructure and facilities. Additionally, he spoke about his upcoming film ‘The Wives’, shedding light on its theme centered around the untold stories of Bollywood star wives.
The filmmaker revealed that ‘The Wives of Bollywood’ is currently in post-production and is expected to hit the screens in August or September. He expressed his intention to seek the blessings of Mahakaal for the success of the film.
Known for his notable works like ‘Chandni Bar’ and ‘Fashion’, Bhandarkar has also ventured into co-producing with the Bengali film ‘Avijatrik’, based on the novel ‘Aparajito’ by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay.
