The Madhya Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to convene its two-day State Executive Committee meeting in Orchha on July 18 and 19. This meeting will focus on enhancing organizational strength, boosting booth-level readiness, and devising political strategies for the upcoming months.
State BJP president Hemant Khandelwal will preside over this significant meeting, marking his first major State Executive Committee gathering after a year in office. The agenda is expected to outline the party’s roadmap under his leadership and emphasize organizational priorities.
According to BJP State Media In-charge Ashish Usha Agrawal, the meeting will offer party workers valuable guidance from senior leaders. Discussions will cover various aspects such as organizational issues, booth strengthening, expansion strategies, training initiatives, effective implementation of public welfare schemes, and future political and organizational plans.
The State Executive Committee meeting will see the participation of 106 committee members and 41 permanent invitees. Additionally, state office-bearers, divisional and district in-charges, Morcha presidents, and organizational cell convenors will attend as special invitees, collectively focusing on enhancing the party’s groundwork in Madhya Pradesh.
State BJP chief Khandelwal, who assumed office on July 2, 2025, is expected to use this platform to shape the party’s upcoming organizational endeavors in the state. The meeting will also provide a forum for senior BJP leaders to offer guidance on future organizational and political initiatives to office-bearers and workers.
Deliberations at the executive committee will center on strengthening booth-level committees, expanding the organization’s reach, training party members, reviewing public welfare scheme implementations, and fostering better coordination between the party and the government. The BJP anticipates that this meeting will equip its cadre for forthcoming political activities and further solidify its grassroots network in Madhya Pradesh.
