Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that 2027 will be observed as the Year of Youth during the ‘My Youth-My Pride Conclave-2026’ in Indore. Emphasizing the importance of supporting young people, Yadav highlighted that India is the world’s youngest country with a significant youth population. The government is dedicated to creating opportunities and providing necessary assistance for the youth to fulfill their aspirations.
Youth representatives at the event presented Chief Minister Yadav with a ‘Youth Resolution Document’ aimed at fostering a developed Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, a bicycle rally was flagged off as part of the program. The government is actively supporting the youth by offering financial aid for establishing homestays, facilitating access to education loans for medical studies, and providing Rs 5,000 per worker to industries generating employment.
Chief Minister Yadav also underscored initiatives like the Rahveer Yojana, which rewards individuals aiding road accident victims with Rs 25,000. Furthermore, he mentioned the PM Shri Air Ambulance service, catering to the medical emergencies of underprivileged individuals. Encouraging the youth to contribute to the nation’s progress, Yadav invoked the spirit of freedom fighters like Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, and Madan Lal Dhingra.
In his address, Yadav stressed the significance of youth participation in shaping a better future, emphasizing that every elected government should align its actions with the people’s aspirations. Principal Secretary, Industries, Raghvendra Singh, highlighted that the conclave provided a platform for young individuals to share insights on education, skill development, sports, healthcare, innovation, and natural farming.
